For TernoCon Palaro 2025, BENCH/ and the Cultural Center of the Philippines reimagined the terno through the spirit of play. Staged on a football field, the event brought together designers including Carl Jan Cruz, Len Cabili, Renz Reyes, Jo Ann Bitagcol, Hannah Adrias, and Glyn Alley Magtibay, each offering fresh perspectives on the traditional garment. From tailored reinterpretations and handwoven textiles to prints and athletic details, their collections wove together heritage and sport, transforming the national dress into something fluid and dynamic.
