Call for Submissions: Southeast Asian Fashion Writing
We are launching the Fashion & Market Fresh Take writing contest! We are seeking critical and creative voices to explore and analyse the Southeast Asian fashion ecosystem.
If you would like to participate, write an essay that could be published under one of the following categories: Trend Report, Reviews, My Own Words, Fashion Research or Up Close. A note that we will not be accepting Q&A-style interview articles.
Guidelines
Tone: Please review the content on fashionandmarket.net to ensure your entry aligns with our editorial voice.
Images: Do embed images within the article and caption them according to the Fashion & Market house style.
Wordcount: Up to 1,200 words, not including image captions, with no minimum requirement.
Eligibility
The entries must not have been published before, and each applicant should only submit one entry. There are no age or geographical restrictions.
Prizes
1st prize: SGD200
2nd prize: SGD150
3rd prize: SGD100
Winners will also work with Fashion & Market editors to publish their entries.
Submission
Submit via this [Google Form] by 31 August 2026, 11.59pm (GMT+8). We will notify all applicants of the outcome by 14 September 2026.
