What is your educational background?

I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking at the Silpakorn University.

What are other details of experiences, work or otherwise, that have led you to your current work?

I currently work as an fashion art director, but my background is rooted in art practices such as painting, printing and sculpture. MAISON G bags began from my home. Every bag I design feels like a sculptural piece that I collect and carry through everyday life.

How would you describe your practice/business?

My practice is slow but strong. I approach each bag as an art piece rather than simply as a bag. Influenced by painting and sculpture, I see every design as a form that carries emotion, memory and function together. I want MAISON G pieces to feel timeless, personal and sculptural. 

What are the highlight projects in your career so far?

In the past, my work has been featured in international media for the distinctive sculptural shapes of my bags. My focus now is to push the brand further toward sustainability. Sustainability is an important part of my practice, and I am exploring ways to make each piece as sustainable as possible.

What are you currently working on?

I recently started a new line, Craft is key, which focuses on using local materials and traditional craftsmanship. One of the first pieces is the Yo Yos bag, made from Thai silk and handcrafted by local artisans.I am excited about developing this direction further, where design, sustainability and craft can exist together in a more meaningful way.
