Manila-based designer Carl Jan Cruz has cultivated a practice that reads as both wardrobe and autobiography. Eschewing seasonal cycles, his collections form an evolving vocabulary of garments, where familiar staples are reconsidered through thoughtful details such as raw edges drapery, and shifting proportions. His recent collaboration with multi-label concept store Univers extends this exploration, featuring pieces such as a draped black dress layered over wide denim trousers, and a high-collared shirt with ballooning sleeves styled nonchalantly with cropped trousers.

Rakkiu
New Collection Launch

Rakkiu channels the alchemy of streetwear and heritage. Founded in Hanoi in 2020, the label draws from the raw spirit of hip-hop and skate culture, reimagined through vintage washes, hand-stitched detailing, and pared-back tonal palettes. Its latest collection sharpens this study of proportion and utility, staging layered compositions and understated graphics: an oversized tee with floor-grazing trousers and a capacious tote; a reconstructed polo spliced into tailored wide shorts. Together, the pieces extend Rakkiu’s ongoing inquiry into how modular, everyday garments can be re-engineered into a new kind of contemporary uniform.

Tha Homemade
New Collection: ‘EP. 2’

Founded in Chiang Mai by Pon Thanit Jaroenpotsathapon, Tha Homemade is a family-rooted practice that carries traditional textile craft into a new chapter. From her home studio, Thanit works closely with relatives and local artisans, drawing on shared knowledge of batik, natural dyeing and eco-printing. The latest collection, ‘EP. 2’, leans into painterly expression: gradients flow together, layered strokes add texture, and fluid silhouettes create garments that feel both handcrafted and modern.
