What is your educational background?

I obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design from La Salle College in Jakarta.

What are other details of experiences, work or otherwise, that have led you to your current work?

It was during my freshman year in university when I first discovered Steve McCurry and his work. That was my earliest and most influential introduction to photography. After graduating, I decided to pursue the industry more seriously by interning at a fashion magazine in Jakarta.

How would you describe your practice/business?

Sensitive, satirical, comical.

What are the highlight projects in your career so far?

I went to the Philippines to shoot the abaca rug-making process for Lemaire’s Elzévir store campaign, and directed an interview video for their Angkasapura exhibition. I also photographed Elora Hardy for a collaboration between Phaidon and IKEA for the book Us & Our Planet.

What are you currently working on?

I’ll be doing the same predictable projects at least until next month. Hopefully, something fun comes along as a bit of light.
